The same meeting will also review financial results for the July–September quarter, the company said in an exchange filing on Friday.
This will be the first instance since its 2018 listing that HDFC AMC will consider a bonus issue. The fund house has so far rewarded shareholders through steady dividends, paying a total of Rs 336 per share since 2019, including Rs 90 per share distributed in June this year.
Promoters held a 52.4% stake in the company as of the June quarter. Retail shareholders, defined as those with shareholdings valued up to Rs 2 lakh, collectively owned about 6.51% of the company, according to exchange data.
Stock performance
HDFC AMC shares have climbed 36% so far in 2025 and are trading near their 52-week high of Rs 5,927. The stock has delivered a fivefold return from its IPO price of Rs 1,100 per share.
From a technical standpoint, the stock is currently trading above seven of its eight key simple moving averages (5-day, 10-day, 30-day, 50-day, 100-day, 150-day, and 200-day SMAs) while remaining below its 20-day SMA.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) stands at 42.1, suggesting the stock is neither overbought nor oversold. Meanwhile, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) is at -43.9 and remains below both the center and signal lines, indicating a continuing bearish trend.
