The budget also devoted ₹77 crore to the Thozhi hostel scheme for working women, which will benefit almost 800 women in 10 locations.
At a cost of 275 crore, hostels for students will also be built in Madurai, Chennai, and Coimbatore. This fiscal year, the government will fill 40,000 positions and provide bank loans of up to 10 lakh with a 20 percent subsidy to one lakh female entrepreneurs.

For one lakh students, a fund of 2,500 crore has been announced for education loans. The minister also said that a new Mini-TIDEL Park would be built in the Virudhunagar district. 6,600 new jobs would be created by these measures. In addition, new undergraduate programs will be offered by the state government during the upcoming academic year. These programs will cover rapidly growing fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cyber Security, Robotics, Electric Vehicle Technology and Environmental Engineering.
