Congress is less keen on the India bloc and more focused in assembly elections.
The Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA), according to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, was established to defend the nation from those who would alter its past.
The head of Janata Dal (United), however, claimed that the Congress is more focused on the impending assembly polls in five states, which is why the bloc is not moving forward.

Why is this story important?
In order to challenge the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the next state assembly elections and 2024 Lok Sabha elections, at least 28 opposition parties established the INDIA bloc earlier this year.
Many see the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chattishgarh, Telangana, and Mizoram as a prelude to the general elections that will take place the following year.

Bihar CM: Congress is more focused on the next legislative elections.
Five states are holding assembly elections. Speaking to an audience in Patna, Kumar stated, “The Congress party is more interested in those.”
They are not concerned about any of this at the moment, even though we were all cooperating to advance the Congress party. Right now, they are preoccupied with the five-state election. They will thus personally call each person following the five-state election,” he continued.

After Kumar’s comments, the BJP refers to the INDIA bloc as a “tukde tukde” alliance.
Shehzad Poonawalla, a BJP spokeswoman, responded to Kumar’s remarks by referring to the INDIA alliance as a “tukde tukde” (piece piece) alliance.
Rahul Gandhi should organise a “INDI Jodo Yatra” rather than a Bharat Jodo Yatra, according to Poonawalla, who was speaking to the news agency ANI.
“Samajwadi Party (SP) vs Congress was going on in Madhya Pradesh, today Kumar attacked Congress,” he said.

The INDIA Alliance’s goal is unclear: Poonawalla
The BJP spokesman also brought up the old party’s conflict with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab and Delhi, as well as the rivalry between Mamata Banerjee and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury in West Bengal.
“The Congress and Left have been at odds in Kerala. It implies that there is no goal or vision for this collaboration. All that stands between this alliance’s members is conflict, misunderstanding, corruption, ambition, and annoyance. They taunt each other because of this,” he continued.
