Domestic platforms Zerodha, Groww and Angel One were hit by service disruptions after the US-based internet services provider Cloudflare experienced a major outage on Friday reportedly due to maintenance.
Several users took to social media platform X to flag login issues, delayed order execution and platform unavailability during market hours.
“Zerodha doesn’t seem to be working , anyone facing same issue ? seems like cloudfare server down,” a user named Kavita tweeted on her X handle.
“#cloudfare everything is down now , groww , upstox, all are down now,” another user named Rahul Kumar wrote.
Though the users battled connection problems, shares of Groww were unaffected with stock trading 3.6% up on the NSE at Rs 150.60 amid very high volumes. Nearly 4.5 crore shares changed hands around 3 pm.
