
The faces of the BJP’s chief ministers have not been quite clear since the party won the three states in the most recent assembly election.
After meeting with MLAs in their various states, the central observers will decide on the chief minister.
Why is this story important?
This news comes amid rumors that during the weekend, new chief ministers will be named.
The assembly polls for 2023 were overwhelmingly won by the saffron brigade. In Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, the party triumphed over the Congress with considerable margins, securing a return.
The BJP kept its majority in Madhya Pradesh after securing 163 seats, leaving the opposition party with just 63 seats.
In the meantime, the Congress won 64 seats in Telangana, overthrowing the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government.
Who are the onlookers?
The BJP has designated party general secretary Vinod Tawde, senior Rajya Sabha MP Saroj Pande, and defense minister Rajnath Singh as observers for Rajasthan.
Union Ministers Sarbanand Sonowal, Arjun Munda, and General Secretary Dushyant Gautam are part of the observers’ team in Chhattisgarh.
The process would be supervised by Rajya Sabha MP K Laxman, Asha Lakra, and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in Madhya Pradesh.

In Madhya Pradesh, Union ministers Jyotiraditya Scindia, Prahlad Patel, Narendra Singh Tomar, and senior politician Kailash Vijayvargiya are among the contenders, with CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan emerging as the front-runner.
The leading candidates for Chhattisgarh are former chief minister Raman Singh, state BJP president Arun Kumar Sao, former administrator OP Chaudhary, and Dharamlal Kaushik.
Former chief minister Vasundhara Raje, Speaker of the Lok Sabha Om Birla, and ministers Arjun Meghwal and Gajendra Shekhawat are among the candidates for chief minister of Rajasthan.
CM of Telangana Revanth Reddy took an oath on Thursday.
Following the party’s historic success in the assembly elections, Congress leader Anumula Revanth Reddy took the oath of office as Telangana’s second chief minister on Thursday.
Reddy’s deputy, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, took the oath of office, while ten other ministers were assigned other ministries.
In the upcoming days, the final names of six additional ministers will probably be announced. The chief minister is one of the state’s maximum of eighteen ministers.
