The company’s revenue form operations in the quarter stood at Rs 52,145 crore, which was up 26% over Rs 41,473 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year.
Airtel Q2FY26 ARPU & Customer Base
Airtel’s mobile Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) increased to Rs 256 versus Rs 233 in Q2FY25.
The overall customer base stood at 624 million across 15 countries, the company filing to the exchanges revealed.
The Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) in the quarter under review stood at Rs 29,919 crore, up 36% YoY while the EBITDA margin was reported at 57.4%.
The EBITDAaL stood at Rs 26,600 crore, up 42% YoY while the EBITDAaL margin was reported at 51%.
Airtel India business Q2FY26
The customer base stood at 450 million at the end of September quarter.The domestic revenue stood at Rs 38,690 crore, up 22.6% YoY while the EBITDA was reported at Rs 23,204 crore, up 34.2% YoY. The EBITDA margin stood at 60%. Company’s capex for the quarter was at Rs 9,643 crore.
Airtel Africa business Q2FY26
The customer base stood at 174 million as on September 30, 2025. The revenue in constant currency was up 24.2% YoY. The EBITDA margin in constant currency was reported at 48.8%, up 238 bps YoY while the EBIT margin at 32.3% was up 190 bps YoY. The capex for the quarter at Rs 1,719 crore.
“We have further strengthened our position in the postpaid segment with quarterly net additions of 0.95 million customers, bringing our total customer base to 27.5 million. Smartphone data customers increased by 22.2 million over past 12 months, representing a 8.4% YoY increase,” the company filing said.
During the quarter, Airtel added 2,479 towers and 20,841 mobile broadband base stations, deploying 12,796 new towers over the past 12 months while rolling out 44,104 kms of fiber.
The Homes business reported 30.2%YoY revenue growth, driven by robust customer additions. During the quarter, the company added 951K customers, taking total customer base to 11.9 million.
Bharti Airtel also entered into partnership with Perplexity to offer 12-month Perplexity Pro subscription free of cost to all its Mobile, Homes and Digital TV customers. “This collaboration brings the powerful AI-powered search and answer engine that offers real-time and deeply researched responses to users in a conversational language, at no extra cost, offering convenience and value to the users,” the filing claimed.
