According to the complaint, the man met the woman about two months ago through the Happn dating app. After chatting for a while, they decided to meet in person at The Reservoire restaurant in Indiranagar on November 1.
“We consumed alcohol at the restaurant. Saying she would not return to her PG accommodation, she took me to Octave Crystal Heights hotel in Indiranagar and made me book a room. In the room, we ate the food she ordered online. She gave me water and I lost consciousness after drinking it,” the complainant stated in his report filed on November 8.
Valuables missing the next morning
The next morning, the man discovered that several of his belongings were missing. “In the morning, I found that a gold chain, bracelet, headset, and Rs 10,000 in cash, together worth Rs 6.8 lakh, were missing,” he told police. The woman’s mobile phone has been switched off since November 2, he added.

An investigation is underway to trace the woman and recover the stolen valuables.
