Revenue from the power supply, which contributes significantly to overall income, 20% YoY to Rs 2,776 crore. EBITDA from the segment improved 19% YoY to Rs 2,543 crore.
“Strong revenue from the power supply, EBITDA, and cash profit growth are primarily backed by robust greenfield capacity addition of 5.5 GW, deployment of advanced RE technologies, strong plant performance and commissioning of new capacities in resource rich sites in Khavda, Gujarat and Rajasthan,” the company said in a filing.
The company has added 2.4 gw of renewable energy capacity in the first half of the fiscal and said it is on firm path to 5 gw capacity addition in FY26 and reaching its targeted capacity of 50 GW by 2030.
“We are making steady progress in our largest ongoing development of 30 GW RE plant at Khavda in Gujarat,” said Ashish Khanna, CEO of Adani Green Energy.
For the half year, the company’s operational capacity stood at 16.7 GW, continues to be the largest in India.The renewable operational capacity expanded by a healthy 49% YoY to 16.7 gw, putting it on track to achieve 50 gw target. The greenfield additions over the last one year were 5.4 mw which included 4,200 mw of solar capacity, 491 mw wind capacity in Khavda and 805 mw of solar-wind hybrid capacity in Khavda.
Energy sales during the quarter increased 39% YoY propelled by robust capacity additions and strong operational performance.
“We are consistently adopting innovative renewable technologies and digitalizing ever more aspects of our business to boost operational efficiency, project execution and safety,” Khanna added.
