NEW DELHI: BSE(Rs. 2756.89 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1814.28 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1812.71 crore), HAL(Rs. 1800.34 crore), Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 1674.30 crore), Sun Pharma(Rs. 1542.21 crore), RIL(Rs. 1522.47 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 1449.81 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1425.98 crore) and BEL(Rs. 1279.96 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 916.71 points up at 24924.7, while BSE Sensex rose 2975.43 points to 82429.9.
In the Nifty index, Infosys Ltd.(up 7.92 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 7.75 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 7.40 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 6.43 per cent) and Trent Ltd.(up 6.42 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 3.63 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 3.36 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 1.22 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 1.50 per cent) and Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.74 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
