NEW DELHI: Cochin Shipyard(Rs. 2147.31 crore), Jubilant Ingrevia(Rs. 2042.58 crore), BSE(Rs. 2039.94 crore), SCI(Rs. 1972.54 crore), InterGlobe(Rs. 1756.10 crore), GRSE(Rs. 1460.77 crore), BEL(Rs. 1398.24 crore), RIL(Rs. 1389.39 crore), HAL(Rs. 1266.93 crore) and HDFC Bank(Rs. 1163.35 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 169.61 points down at 24718.6, while BSE Sensex fell 573.38 points to 81118.6.
In the Nifty index, Bharat Electronics Ltd.(up 1.76 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.47 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.89 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 0.34 per cent) and Wipro Ltd.(up 0.24 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.83 per cent), State Bank of India(down 1.69 per cent), ITC Ltd.(down 1.69 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.58 per cent) and Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.43 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
