NEW DELHI: GRSE(Rs. 201.72 crore), MMTC(Rs. 199.03 crore), IFCI(Rs. 190.67 crore), Welspun Corp(Rs. 131.92 crore), Waaree Energies(Rs. 118.88 crore), Suzlon Energy(Rs. 114.19 crore), Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 111.17 crore), Reliance Power(Rs. 92.21 crore), Swiggy Ltd.(Rs. 85.03 crore) and Glenmark Pharma(Rs. 75.81 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 81.15 points up at 24833.6, while BSE Sensex rose 320.7 points to 81633.02.
In the Nifty index, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 2.36 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 2.01 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 1.96 per cent), Eternal Ltd.(up 1.87 per cent) and Trent Ltd.(up 1.77 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.09 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.04 per cent), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(down 0.94 per cent), Jio Financial Services Ltd.(down 0.87 per cent) and Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 0.69 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
