NEW DELHI: InterGlobe(Rs. 15084.98 crore), Eternal(Rs. 5049.42 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 2520.87 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 2145.66 crore), Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 1926.55 crore), RIL(Rs. 1797.16 crore), BSE(Rs. 1582.97 crore), BEML(Rs. 1477.33 crore), GRSE(Rs. 1387.34 crore) and HAL(Rs. 1261.66 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 174.96 points down at 24826.2, while BSE Sensex fell 624.82 points to 81551.63.
In the Nifty index, Jio Financial Services Ltd.(up 3.43 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 2.58 per cent), Trent Ltd.(up 0.86 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 0.44 per cent) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 0.29 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 2.30 per cent), ITC Ltd.(down 2.04 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 1.81 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.73 per cent) and Axis Bank Ltd.(down 1.62 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
