NEW DELHI: Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 164.43 crore), Maruti Suzuki(Rs. 42.69 crore), Reliance Infra(Rs. 33.04 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 30.60 crore), Timken India(Rs. 25.16 crore), Suzlon Energy(Rs. 20.72 crore), M&M(Rs. 17.21 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 16.81 crore), Wipro(Rs. 16.74 crore) and JSW Steel(Rs. 14.08 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 12.5 points up at 24346.7, while BSE Sensex rose 259.75 points to 80501.99.
In the Nifty index, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 4.16 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 2.65 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.75 per cent), State Bank of India(up 1.44 per cent) and Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 1.24 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, JSW Steel Ltd.(down 5.50 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 2.41 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 2.33 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 2.28 per cent) and HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 2.15 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
