Godrej Properties shares in focus on emerging as highest bidder for 5-acre land in Hyderabad – News Air Insight

Shares of Godrej Properties Ltd (GPL) are expected to be in focus on Monday, December 1, after the company announced that it has emerged as the highest bidder for a marquee ~5-acre land parcel in Neopolis, Kokapet, Hyderabad.

The e-auction was conducted by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA), and allotment letters are expected to be issued following the due process.

The proposed premium residential development on this parcel is expected to offer ~2.5 million sq. ft. of saleable area, with an estimated revenue potential of around Rs 4,150 crore. The company stated that the development aligns with its strategy of expanding presence in key real estate markets, particularly in Hyderabad, which continues to see strong demand from high-income homebuyers.

Neopolis, Kokapet, has evolved into one of Hyderabad’s most prominent residential micro-markets, driven by its proximity to the Financial District and HITEC City, as well as a thriving ecosystem of technology firms, international schools, retail hubs, and healthcare facilities. The region has seen some of the highest land and product valuations, backed by robust infrastructure and consistent end-user demand.

The company has already launched Godrej Madison Avenue in Kokapet and Godrej Regal Pavilion in Rajendra Nagar.
