Markets traded lackluster on Friday and ended almost unchanged, taking a breather after hitting a fresh record high. The strong rebound in global markets, supported by expectations of continued liquidity, is aiding the ongoing momentum in domestic equities.

“We maintain a positive outlook and recommend continuing with a buy on dips approach as long as the Nifty holds above the 25,900-support zone, with a potential upside target near 26,500,” said Ajit Mishra – SVP, Research, Religare Broking.

In today’s trade, shares of ITC, Voltas, IndiGo, Lenskart, Maruti Suzuki among others will be in focus due to various news developments.

Voltas

Appellate tribunal NCLAT has rejected a plea against Voltas, which sought to initiate insolvency proceedings against the Tata Group firm by one of its operational creditors. A two-member NCLAT bench has upheld the earlier orders of the Mumbai-bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), which had on May 27, 2025 rejected the petition on the grounds of a pre-existing dispute.

IndiGo
IndiGo has announced the completion of a mandatory Airbus system upgrade across its entire A320-family fleet, confirming that all 200 aircraft are now fully compliant with the latest safety requirements. The airline said upgrade programme was executed through a coordinated effort between its engineering and operations teams, ensuring each aircraft received the mandated system enhancement without disrupting flight schedules.Maruti Suzuki
Maruti Suzuki is set to officially announce the launch of its first all-electric passenger vehicle, the e-Vitara, in India on December 2, 2025, marking the brand’s entry into the EV segment. The electric SUV is the first of four Maruti BEVs planned for launch by 2030.

Oil India
Energy sector major Oil India Ltd has commenced a landmark offshore drilling campaign in the Kerala-Konkan Basin by spudding the first well, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Puri announced. He termed this landmark development an inspirational stride in India’s energy journey guided by the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Cipla
Drug maker Cipla said it has launched an integrated lung diagnostics and wellness centre in the national capital. Located in Lajpat Nagar, it will be India’s first-of-its-kind integrated lung diagnostics and wellness centre, the company said.

RIL
Reliance Jio added 19.97 lakh mobile subscribers in October this year – its highest gains among operators in India, as the telco increased user count to 48.47 crore, according to data released by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai).

ITC
The government is likely to introduce two bills to impose new cesses on cigarettes. The Central Excise Amendment Bill, 2025, will replace the GST compensation Cess, which is currently levied on all tobacco products like cigarette, chewing tobacco, cigars, hookahs, zarda, and scented tobacco.

Lenskart
Lenskart has posted its first quarterly results (for the second quarter ended September 2025) after its recent listing as it reported a 20% year-on-year (YoY) jump in its consolidated profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 102.22 crore, up from Rs 85.47 crore reported in the year-ago period.

HDFC Bank
RBI imposed a Rs 91 lakh penalty on HDFC Bank for violating certain provisions of the Banking Regulation Act.
