Budget carrier SpiceJet widened its consolidated net losses in the September quarter to Rs 621 crore compared to the net loss of Rs 458 crore in the year ago period. The profit after tax (PAT) is attributable to the owners of the holding company.
The company’s revenue from operations stood at Rs 792 crore, which was down 13% over Rs 915 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year.
SpiceJet’s losses were deeper on a sequential basis as the company had reported losses to the tune of Rs 234 crore in the April-June quarter of FY26. The topline also fell sharply at 29% compared to Rs 1,120 crore in Q1FY26.
SpiceJet in a media release said that the passenger load factor (PLF) remained healthy at 84.3% demonstrating strong capacity utilisation during an otherwise lean travel season.
