Vodafone Idea Q2 Results: Cons loss narrows YoY to Rs 5,524 crore on 9% ARPU growth, revenue up 2.4% – News Air Insight

Vodafone Idea on Monday narrowed its consolidated net loss year on year in the September quarter to Rs 5,524 crore versus Rs 7,176 crore in the year ago period. The loss is attributable to the owners of the company.

The troubled telecom company reported a 2.4% rise in its revenue from operations at Rs 11,194 crore in the quarter versus Rs 10,932 crore reported in the year ago period.

Vodafone Idea’s customer Average Revenue Per User (ARPU ex-M2M) stood at Rs 180, up from Rs 166 in Q2FY25, recording a YoY growth of 8.7%.

Vodafone Idea reported a consolidated Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) at Rs 4,685 crore in Q2FY26 compared to Rs 4,550 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year. Meanwhile, the EBITDA margin stood at 41.9% in Q2FY26, witnessing a 30 bps uptick over 41.6% posted in the year ago period.

The Cash EBITDA (pre-IndAS 116) stood at Rs 2,246 crore in Q2FY26 versus Rs 2,324 crore in Q2FY25


The company’s 4G/5G subscriber base stood at 127.8 million versus 125.9 million in Q2FY25. The 4G network coverage expanded to 84.4% of population while 4G data capacity increased by 38% and 4G speeds increased by 17% versus March 2024, the company’s filing to the exchanges claimed.The debt from banks reduced to Rs 15.3 billion as on September 30, 2025.Company’s capex for the quarter and for H1FY26 stood at Rs 1,750 crore and Rs 4,200 crore respectively.
