“Kitne tools nikale re… Sebi ne? (How many tools has Sebi introduced?)” asks Gabbar, setting the stage for a playful financial lesson.
The dialogue continues with Thakur replying: “Sebi ne aam janta ke liye 3 zabardast tools nikale hain. Pahla hai SCORES (SEBI Complaints Redress System), jis se niveshak apni shikayatein soochibadh companies ke khilaf Sebi ko darj kar sakte hain. (Sebi has launched 3 powerful tools for the common people. First is Scores, using which investors can lodge complaints against listed companies.)”
In plain terms, SCORES lets investors lodge complaints against listed companies or intermediaries online, track them in real time, and escalate unresolved issues automatically.
The video moves on to the second tool: MITRA. “Doosra hai, MITRA platform, jis se nishkriya track kiya jaa sakta hai,” Thakur explains. MITRA, or the Mutual Fund Portfolio Analytics Tool, gives investors clear insights into their mutual fund holdings, performance metrics, and overall portfolio health, helping them make more informed decisions.
Finally, the third tool, ODR (Online Dispute Resolution), is introduced: “Teesra hai, ODR, jis se niveshak aur broker aur mutual fund ke beech ke vivad ko suljhaya jaa sakta hia. Samjhe Gabbar?” This platform offers a digital, legally binding method to resolve disputes between investors and brokers quickly, bypassing the courtroom.

About the campaign
The video is an entry in Sebi’s Arth Yatra Contest 2025, which encourages participants across India to showcase investor education creatively. Short videos and posts are designed to teach topics like scam prevention, responsible investing, and simplified investment processes, often using storytelling and Indian cultural references to make lessons memorable.
With SCORES, MITRA, and ODR now center stage, Sebi is making investor education more transparent, accessible, and, in this case, entertaining. And for one AI-generated Gabbar Singh, even a notorious dacoit can become a reluctant finance teacher, showing that learning about investing doesn’t always have to be serious business.
