According to a regulatory filing, the agreement, signed on September 11, resolves all long-standing disputes related to EPC contracts between the two parties for setting up a 3×660 MW thermal power project.
“Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations, we wish to inform that Talwandi Sabo Power Limited (TSPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Vedanta Limited, has entered into a Settlement Agreement on September 11, 2025, around 9:00 pm IST with SEPCO Electric Power Construction Corporation for resolution of all long-standing disputes relating to EPC contracts entered between the parties for setting up of a 3×660 MW Thermal Power Project,” Vedanta said in its filing to the exchanges.
The settlement provides a full and final resolution of all claims and counterclaims between TSPL and SEPCO. It also entails the withdrawal of all pending arbitration proceedings, effectively closing a long-running legal dispute.
Vedanta said the development strengthens TSPL’s operational position by clearing legacy issues that had been pending for years. The company added that the agreement will enable smoother execution and sharpen its operational focus going forward.
