The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 90.83 points up at 83697.29, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 24.75 points up at 25541.8.
In the Nifty50 index, 24 stocks closed in the green, while 26 stocks ended in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Gabriel India, Concord Drugs, TN Telecom, Suryo Foods Ind and Ambar Protein Ind hit their fresh 52-week high, while Stampede Cap(DVR), Arisinfra Solutions, Prime Ind, Omega Inter.Tech and Sadhana Nitro touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
