The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 452.44 points down at 83606.46, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 120.75 points down at 25517.05.
In the Nifty50 index, 20 stocks closed in the green, while 30 stocks ended in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Kimia Biosciences, Adinath Text, Innovana Thinklabs, Omnitex Ind and Sanofi Consumer Heal hit their fresh 52-week high, while Tower Infra Trust, Jai Mata Glass, Nutricircle, Patidar Build and Pankaj Piyush touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
