NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 1000.36 points up at 83755.87 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Silver Pearl Hospitality (down 16.54 per cent), Tejnaksh Healthcare(down 11.42 per cent), AI Champdany(down 10.72 per cent), SBL Infratech(down 10.00 per cent) and Natural Biocon(I)(down 9.97 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.
In the Nifty pack, 42 stocks closed in the green, while 8 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 304.25 points up at 25549.0.
On the BSE, Tejnaksh Healthcare, Vaksons Automobiles, Hipolin Ltd, Salguti Industries and Archana Software hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Lloyds Steels(PP), Mardia Samyoung, Cube Highways Trust, Lumax Auto Tech and Nuvama Wealth Mgmt touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
