The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 700.4 points up at 82755.51, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 200.41 points up at 25244.75.
In the Nifty50 index, 41 stocks closed in the green, while 9 stocks ended in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Mardia Samyoung, Prabha Energy, Frontier Spring, RR Financial and EID Parry hit their fresh 52-week high, while Integrated Hitech Ltd., Goyal Associate, India Infra Trust, Salguti Industries and Archana Software touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
