NEW DELHI: NTPC(Rs. 3283.95 crore), RIL(Rs. 2389.34 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 2221.95 crore), BSE(Rs. 1696.01 crore), GRSE(Rs. 1673.59 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1595.04 crore), BEL(Rs. 1415.46 crore), Bharti Airtel(Rs. 1327.30 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1285.47 crore) and Kotak Bank(Rs. 1243.17 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 72.45 points up at 25044.35, while BSE Sensex rose 158.32 points to 82055.11.
In the Nifty index, Jio Financial Services Ltd.(up 2.61 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 2.57 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 2.18 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 2.11 per cent) and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 1.81 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 2.97 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.49 per cent), Trent Ltd.(down 1.03 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 0.95 per cent) and NTPC Ltd.(down 0.80 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
