NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 256.22 points up at 82445.21 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Shivansh Finserve(down 14.75 per cent), National Fittings (down 11.00 per cent), Upsurge Invst(down 10.73 per cent), Ramasigns Industries(down 10.00 per cent) and DAPS Advertising(down 10.00 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.
In the Nifty pack, 39 stocks closed in the green, while 11 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 100.16 points up at 25103.2.
On the BSE, Integrated Hitech Ltd., Tirth Plastic Ltd., Archana Software, Nutricircle and Krishna Vent hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Ajcon Global, Indef Manufacturing, Reliable Ventures India, Hybrid Financial Services and OCCL Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
