NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Thursday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Sika Interplant(14.99%), Bharat Wire Ropes(12.20%), Oswal Green Tech(11.37%), PNC Infratech(10.97%), Pearl Polymers(10.47%) and Deccan GoldMine(10.45%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 320.74 points up at 81318.99, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 101.4 points to 24721.6.
In the Nifty 50 index, 33 stocks traded in the green, while 17 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Sika Interplant, NDR Auto Components, Ginni Filaments, Ador Multiprod and Narmada Macplast hit their fresh 52-week high, while Archana Software, Pulsar International, Yarn Syndicate(PP), Siel Financial and Nettlinx Ltd touched their new 52-week low in trade.
