Gland Pharma Ltd.(up 1.75 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.69 per cent), Zydus Lifesciences Ltd.(up 1.38 per cent), Ajanta Pharma Ltd.(up 0.97 per cent) and Ipca Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.93 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Alkem Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.91 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 0.87 per cent), Lupin Ltd.(down 0.69 per cent), Biocon Ltd.(down 0.49 per cent) and Laurus Labs Ltd.(down 0.33 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was up 0.05 per cent at 21364.0 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 43.75 points at 24586.25, while the BSE Sensex was up 159.74 points at 80897.25.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 30 were trading in the green, while 20 were in the red. Shares of Aditya Birla Retail, Vodafone Idea, Reliance Power, YES Bank and Suzlon Energy were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Natural Capsule, GRSE, Shree Global, Pennar Ind and Interarch Building hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Aditya Birla Retail, Navkar Builders, Prostarm Info System, Godha Cabcon & Insul and Jai Balaji Inds hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
