NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 55.62 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 50.03 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 46.42 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 17.36 crore), Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 16.81 crore), IOB(numbers of share traded: 8.93 crore), Ola Electric Mobility Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 8.61 crore), Bank of Maharashtra(numbers of share traded: 8.45 crore), UCO Bank(numbers of share traded: 6.31 crore) and PNB(numbers of share traded: 5.78 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 34.11 points down at 24716.6, while BSE Sensex ended down 77.26 points at 81373.75.
On the other hand, Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.79 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.58 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 1.48 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.31 per cent) and Tata Steel Ltd.(down 1.23 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
