NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 239.31 points down at 81312.32 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Trinity League(down 11.19 per cent), ADC India(down 10.81 per cent), Racl Geartech (down 10.09 per cent), Nahar Poly Film(down 9.99 per cent) and Bazel International(down 9.99 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.
In the Nifty pack, 14 stocks closed in the green, while 36 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 73.75 points down at 24752.45.
On the BSE, Hindusthan Urban Inf, Shri Keshav Cem, Tantia Const, Orchid Pharma and Pulsar International hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Apollo Micro Systems, Amit Securities, ASM Tech, Intelligent Supply and GSK Pharma touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
