Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 0.73 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 1.11 per cent at 907.9 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 64.5 points at 24997.6, while the BSE Sensex was down 242.95 points at 82287.79.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 20 were trading in the green, while 30 were in the red. Shares of Vodafone Idea, Bharti Airtel, YES Bank, JSW Infrastructure and Suzlon Energy were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Wanbury Ltd, Paras Defence, Bharat Dynamics, Gujarat Themis and ARSS Infra hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Wendt India, Chembond Chem and Godha Cabcon & Insul hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
