NSE declares dividend of Rs 35 per share along with Q4 results. Check details – News Air Insight

Leading stock exchange NSE has declared a final dividend of Rs 35 per share for the financial year 2025. The dividend was announced along with its fourth quarter results. The exchange reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 2,650 crore for the quarter ended March 2025, marking a 7% increase from Rs 2,487 crore in the same period last year.

However, revenue from operations declined to Rs 3,771 crore, down 18% year-on-year from Rs 4,625 crore in Q4FY24.

On a sequential basis, the exchange’s profit after tax fell sharply by 31% from Rs 3,834 crore in the December quarter. Operational revenue also dropped 13% quarter-on-quarter, compared to Rs 4,349 crore in Q3FY25.

Operating EBITDA came in at Rs 2,799 crore, showing a decline of 8% YoY from Rs 3,036 crore and an 18% fall QoQ from Rs 3,398 crore.

The EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 74%, lower than 78% in Q3FY25, but significantly higher than 66% reported in Q4FY24.


Total expenses rose 10% YoY to Rs 1,119 crore in Q4FY25 but moderated 1% sequentially. Notably, technology-related costs surged 25% YoY to Rs 304 crore, up from Rs 243 crore a year ago.On a QoQ basis, tech expenses rose 13% from Rs 270 crore in Q3.
