Gandhi further said that PM Modi never wears the same outfit twice.
In Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, on Thursday, Prime Minister Modi encouraged citizens to abstain from voting for the Congress for at least a century, citing their leaders’ poverty tourism and silver spoon parenting.
Why is this story important?
Prominent members of the Congress Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are actively campaigning in the states that are up for election: Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, Rajasthan, and Telangana.
The two largest parties in the nation appear to be in close competition with one another, as seen by the ferocious attacks from their leaders.
But according to reports, the Congress is optimistic of keeping Chhattisgarh and regaining Madhya Pradesh, where its government was overthrown after winning the 2018 election, while the BJP is apparently having trouble in all five states.
PM Modi: Congress is a master at going backwards
Reversing the nation’s growth is something the Congress was very good at, according to PM Modi, who stated, “The way a vehicle takes us back in the reverse gear, Congress is also an expert of reverse gear and is an expert in converting good governance into a bad one.”
“In the past, these Congressmen would demonstrate their international friends the poverty in India. Poverty was tourism for those Congressmen who came from wealthy families, he claimed.
Gandhi claims that 90 people manage the government.
Gandhi charged that PM Modi was leading the country with just ninety bureaucrats, nearly all of whom were not members of the Other Backward Classes (OBC).
It’s a common misconception that MLAs and MPs control the government. I have seen inside the government. Along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ninety bureaucrats administer the Indian government. The Indian budget is distributed by these 90 bureaucrats,” he stated.
He questioned how many of the alleged ninety officials were OBCs.
“PM Modi renounced his OBC claims following the caste census.”
Gandhi also brought up PM Modi’s recent claim that there is only one caste in India—the poor—during his remarks at Durg, Chhattisgarh.
Gandhi added that Prime Minister Modi came to prominence by constantly claiming to be an OBC, but that as soon as he began discussing a caste census, caste was dropped from his speeches.
If elected to power, the Congress has promised to carry out national caste-based survey, but the BJP is against it, claiming the Congress is attempting to split the country along caste lines.
