When heavyweight institutional investors move in tandem, the market tends to take notice. Backed by deep research and sharper insights, both foreign institutional investors (FIIs) and mutual funds (MFs) often spot opportunities early—making their combined bets a strong signal for retail investors.
An ET Markets analysis highlights this trend, showing that FIIs and MFs simultaneously increased their stakes in 36 stocks from the Nifty 250 micro-cap index during the March quarter.
