Markets traded in a lacklustre manner and ended almost unchanged on Wednesday, taking a breather after the recent surge. Analysts say the pause in the index is largely on expected lines, and some further consolidation may unfold over the coming sessions, though the overall tone is likely to remain positive.

In today’s trade, shares of HUL, HAL, Lenskart, BHEL, Ather Energy, Bharti Airtel among others will be in focus due to various news developments and third quarter results today.

HUL, ONGC, HAL, Coal India, Hindalco, IRCTC
Shares of HUL, ONGC, HAL, Coal India, Hindalco and IRCTC will be in focus as the companies will announce their third quarter results today.LG Electronics
Consumer electronics major LG India on Wednesday reported a 61% year-on-year (YoY) decline in its consolidated net profit at Rs 89.7 crore in the third quarter. Revenue from operations too fell 6% YoY to Rs 4114 crore. On a sequential basis, revenue also fell sharply from Rs 6,174 crore in Q2FY26. Total income for the quarter came in at Rs 4,190 crore compared with Rs 4,474 crore a year ago.


BHEL
State-run Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) on Wednesday informed the exchanges about its intention to exercise the oversubscription option after the offer for sale received strong response from the no-retail investors. The issue which opened today, was oversubscribed 2.35X, receiving over 22 crore share bids against the base offer of 10.44 crore shares.

Lenskart Solutions
Lenskart Solutions consolidated net profit in the December-ended quarter surged by a whopping 6,982% to Rs 131 crore compared to Rs 2 crore reported in the year ago period. The profit after tax (PAT) is attributable to the owners of the holding company.

Ather Energy
Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs acquired shares in smallcap multibagger Ather Energy through separate block deals on Wednesday, with the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) emerging as the seller. NIIF offloaded over 33.78 lakh shares in transactions valued at around Rs 233 crore.

Patanjali Foods
FMCG major Patanjali Foods reported a 60% jump in its consolidated net profit for the December-ended quarter at Rs 594 crore compared to Rs 371 crore reported in the year ago period. The company’s revenue from operations recorded a 17% growth at Rs 10,484 crore in Q3FY26 versus Rs 8,997 crore posted in the corresponding period of the last financial year.

Bharti Airtel
Airtel on Wednesday unveiled Fraud Alert, an AI-powered solution that aims to provide real-time protection to customers against the rapidly-growing menace of One-Time-Password (OTP)-related bank frauds. Fraudsters exploit the urgency often associated with OTPs for day-to-day services like delivery, and dupe customers into sharing banking-transaction-OTPs, exposing their account savings to the risk of fraud, an Airtel release said.
