Cochin Shipyard
State-run Cochin Shipyard reported an 18% decline in its December-quarter consolidated net profit at Rs 145 crore versus Rs 177 crore posted in the year ago period. Revenue from operations also rose 18% to Rs 1,350 crore in Q3FY26 compared to Rs 1,148 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year.

State-owned defence shipbuilder Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers reported a strong performance for the December quarter, with sharp growth in both profit and revenue, supported by higher execution and improved operating leverage. The company’s net profit for the third quarter ended December 2025, rose to Rs 171 crore, compared with Rs 98 crore in the same quarter last year.
L&T
Engineering and construction major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) reported a 4.3% decline in its December quarter consolidated net profit at Rs 3,215 crore compared to Rs 3,359 crore reported in the year ago period. The profit after tax (PAT) is attributable to the owners of the parent.

Inox Clean
Inox Clean Energy (ICEL), part of Noida-based renewable energy company INOXGFL Group, is raising Rs 3,400 crore from National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID) via a 20-year loan. The loan will be used to refinance ICEL’s debt after the acquisition of Macquarie Group’s renewable energy platform Vibrant Energy.
Maruti Suzuki
Maruti Suzuki missed market estimates with a 3.7% increase in third-quarter net profit, weighed down by weak exports and a one-time provision made for implementing new labour codes, even as the country’s largest carmaker recorded its best quarterly net sales on record.
JSW Energy
Sajjan Jindal-led JSW Energy is planning to set up its first nuclear power plant by 2030. The company is assessing large reactor technologies including 700-megawatt pressurised heavy water reactors (PHWRs) as well as larger 1,000-megawatt options, a senior JSW Energy executive said at the India Energy Week in Goa.

SBI Cards and Payment Services reported a jump in third-quarter profit on Wednesday, aided by higher consumer spending on credit cards during the Indian festive season. The company’s profit after tax rose 45% to Rs 557 crore ($60.59 million) for the three months ended December 2025, up from Rs 383 crore a year ago.
