MUMBAI: Elara Capital has set the target on Nifty at 30,000 levels by March 2027, indicating 17% upside for the NSE benchmark from Wednesday’s closing level of 25,666. The brokerage said a likely earnings rebound will drive the surge in the Nifty.
Elara said it is overweight on the consumption sector and they prefer premiumization themes via discretionary plays, auto, jewellery, beauty and personal care and hotels.
The brokerage is also overweight on NBFCs and private banks, and oil marketing companies amid soft crude oil prices and expansion in refining margin
