Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty ended 12.5 points up at 24346.7, while the BSE Sensex closed 259.75 points up at 80501.99.
On the other hand, Force Motors, Reliance Naval & Engg, Privi Speciality Chemicals, Godfrey Philips and Cura Tech stocks hit their fresh 52-week highs today.
In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ports SEZ, Bajaj Finance Ltd., IndusInd Bank Ltd., State Bank of India and Reliance Industries Ltd. were among the top gainers on the NSE in the today’s trade.
Meanwhile, JSW Steel, Bajaj Auto Ltd., Eicher Motors Ltd., Hero MotoCorp and HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. were among the top losers of the day.
